The “Legal Eagle” video collection consists of movies
or television shows written about lawyers, the law or the legal
community. These videos may be checked out for your personal viewing
pleasure.
To become a subscriber for the Legal Eagle DVD collection, current
King County Law Library subscribers must pay a fee of $20 per
year, or $30 per year for non-subscribers. The subscription period
runs from June 1st until May 31st of next year.
This small fee will allow you to check out up to three DVDs at
a time for a week. So come in now and upgrade your subscription
to include such classics as “A Man for All Seasons”
and “Legally Blonde.”
The form to sign up for Legal Eagle is available online.
Mail in your form with a check or drop it off on your next library
visit. Credit cards are accepted for in-person payments only.

How to Identify DVDs in KCLL’s Legal Eagle Collection
These instructions will create a selective list of DVDs in the
Legal Eagle collection at the King County Law Library.
1. Click on Library Catalog from KCLL’s home page or go
directly to the Catalog here
2. Click on Power Search in the left hand column
3. Click on down arrow next to first box that says Select Field
4. Click on Media Type
5. Type Video in search box to the right
6. Click on Go
To locate a specific DVD in the Legal Eagle collection:
1. Click on Library Catalog from KCLL’s home page
2. Click on Browse Search in the left hand bolumn
3. Type the beginning letters of the name of the DVD you want
to find in the box below “Begins With”
4. Click on Go
If you know only a few key words of the title:
1. Click on Library Catalog from KCLL’s home page
2. Click on Simple Search in the left hand column
3. Type the words in the box below “Type a Key Word or Phrase”
4. Click on Go
For additional search options, click on “Show Search Options”.
