National Library Week – April 12-17
The American Library Association’s theme is "Worlds connect @ your library." The King County Law Library will be offering our Public Sleuthing on Social Networks training on April 15th. The world has gotten much smaller through the social networking phenomenon. KCLL is celebrating the week with cookies – free in the library. Come on in and see us. We will also be offering prizes to patrons who visit us at random times during the week. So be sure to visit as you may be one to claim a prize.
Blog Post of the Month – Washington Supreme Court Briefs
KCLL Klues, our Washington state research blog, keeps you apprised of interesting legal news and great research links. Sign up for the RSS feed. During this last month we highlighted the following new source for your legal research: The Washington State Supreme Court has briefs for cases filed after June 2006 on the Court website. You can search the briefs by key word, by case number, hearing date, or the date the brief was filed. We have added a link to the briefs from our web site. Go to Research Links, then Washington Links and you will find a permanent link for this resource under Courts as the last entry, Supreme Court Briefs.
