Child Welfare Information Gateway connects child welfare and related professionals to comprehensive information and resources to help protect children and strengthen families. They feature the latest on topics from prevention to permanency, including child abuse and neglect, foster care, and adoption. Their State Specific Resources link is particularly useful because it provides an easy way to find State legislation on specific child abuse and neglect, child welfare, and adoption topics.

Youth Advocacy How-To-Videos

This link leads to the portion of the Northwest Justice Project’s YouTube channel dealing with youth law issues including sealing juvenile records, healthcare for children and what to do if you are stopped by the police or arrested.  It includes videos in English and Spanish.

Washington Law Help

WashingtonLawHelp.org is a guide to free civil legal services for low-income persons and seniors in Washington State.  This site provides legal education materials and tools that give you basic information on a number of legal problems, and in some cases, detailed instructions and forms to help you represent yourself in court.  You can also locate information on free legal aid programs in Washington State, including basic eligibility and contact information.
