ALERT: Scheduling Family Law Motions
Beginning August 17th 2026, the Superior Court will begin reviewing all calendared family law motions to ensure their compliance with Local Family Law Rule (LFLR) 6(b). This rule requires that within three days of making a reservation on the Family Law motions calendar, the person filing the motion must also file the following with the Clerk:
- Notice of Court/Hearing Date form
- Motion
- At least one other piece of supporting documentation (declaration, parenting plan, etc.)
If it is found that any of these elements have not been filed within the three days, the reservation on the Family Law Motions Calendar will be stricken (removed).
