An Introduction to Westlaw

February 15 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm PST

Westlaw is the preeminent legal research database, with troves of case analysis, law reviews and journals, annotated primary law, and countless secondary resources. With so much information at hand, it can be difficult to navigate and to make the most of your research time.

Before you head into a King County Law Library location to use one of our Westlaw terminals, attend this free webinar to learn how to use it! We’ll teach you about the different types of content that Westlaw has to offer as well as how to navigate through all of the resources. We’ll also take a deep dive into West’s case analysis, their classification system (Key Numbers), and flagged authorities (KeyCite). Lastly, we’ll look at research strategies to make the most of your time and how to export your findings.
