Discover Discovery

June 1 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm PDT

Welcome to Discover Discovery, KCLL’s newest class series! The process of “doing discovery” is complex and varies according to the type of court case, and several possible tools may be used. The first of these is highlighted in this class, interrogatories.

Interrogatories are sets of written questions posed from one party to another to gather facts and otherwise prepare for trial. There are occasions in which you would opt to use interrogatories, and similarly occasions when you would not. Further, there are some situations when you need to use court approved pattern interrogatories.

This hour-long, free webinar will contain a presentation by a KCLL librarian about all things interrogatories, with a Q&A to follow with a local attorney. If you are a pro se litigant embarking on the discovery process for the first time, this should be invaluable.
