The King County Law Library has partnered with courthouse departments, non-profits, and local attorneys to provide answers during this hour-long webinar.
Questions must be submitted in advance via a webform available in your confirmation email.
(Questions may be rephrased or generalized to avoid giving specific legal advice – this session is intended to only provide legal information.) Registration is free but limited.
SPEAKERS:
King County Law Library aids all persons with their need for legal information by providing legal materials, training, education, and services in a welcoming and positive environment.
The King County Superior Court Clerk Protection Order Office assists with protection order filings, maintains official records of superior court cases, and administers justice system programs.
The Protection Order Advocacy Program (POAP) is a part of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and can assist you with the domestic violence protection order process. You do not have to make an appointment to receive help from an advocate.
YWCA’s Survivors FIRST (Facilitating Information and Resources for Survivors of Trauma) is a program in partnership between YWCA and the King County Prosecuting Attorney to directly connect survivor-defendants to intervention services without criminal charges.
