The YWCA of Seattle, King and Snohomish Counties has started a new service called the Legal Navigation Services program. Qualified legal advisors will provide trauma-informed, advocacy-based legal navigation and counseling in family law, domestic violence, court orders, legal financial obligations, diversion assistance and criminal record expungement.
YWCA is also offering workshops to educate people about a wide variety of issues including:
- Workplace discrimination
- Wage and hour laws
- Tenant rights and responsibilities
- Restraining orders
- And more!
