In early 2025, the University of Washington School of Law and King County will launch a new free civil clinic called the Veteran Clinic to help veterans, service members, and their families successfully apply for VA Benefits.
The UW law school students who volunteer to work for the Veteran Clinic will also benefit from their experiences there and be better prepared to work as attorneys with veteran affairs-specific skills.
