The Nuts and Bolts of Motions is a continuation of our Self-Represented Litigant (SRL) series where we look at the general process of filing motions. 

In Part 1, we get a basic introduction to motions – which is how you ask the court for something.

Service of Process

This brief video will introduce you to the basics of what is known as “service of process” – the court-mandated requirements for delivering your initial court papers to the defendant/respondent.
