Virtual Talk Legally to Me Book Group
Join us virtually at King County Law Library for a new, exciting type of reading group. Our reading group will critically examine how fiction, nonfiction, science, and the law intertwine.
Our goal is to engage in meaningful conversations through theme book pairings, examining how fiction and nonfiction works reflect each other and our world, both historically and in current events.
We will start with a fiction book on a particular topic and follow up the next month with a nonfiction book on the same topic. During our nonfiction book discussion, we will also pull in ideas and themes from the previous month’s fiction book to help us better understand how fiction pulls from the world in which it was created and provides commentary on it.
You do not have to finish the book to join our conversation.
